Character after character has joined the League of Legends universe. The newest arrival on Summoner's Rift is Gwen. Unlike Viego, Gwen stands on the side of good, having come down to the Rift to face the evil that threatens humanity, and she looks determined to stop that threat with her abilities.
League of Legends Gwen's Story
In the long-fallen kingdom of Camavor, there was once a village far from the capital. A quiet young seamstress who lived in this village made herself a doll and named the doll she loved so much Gwen.
The seamstress and the doll spent all their days making things together. As the seamstress girl sewed with needle and thread, Gwen would sit beside her, holding the motionless scissors in her hands. The seamstress girl would invite Gwen to play-fight, and the clatter of the fork and knife she chose as her weapon striking the scissors would echo through the candlelit kitchen.
But over time, the games ended, the light went out. Then one night, her eyes opened. Far from home, she found herself awake for the first time on a shore surrounded by shadows. Some magic she didn't understand had turned her into a living, breathing girl who could move her own hands and feet!

Q - Snip Snip!

- Gwen rapidly snips her scissors two to six times, dealing magic damage in a cone-shaped area. Gwen snips at least twice, and performs one additional snip for every basic attack she lands on an enemy (up to four additional snips, for six total).
- Enemies at the center of each snip take true damage as well as bonus magic damage from Thousand Cuts.
W - Hallowed Mist

- Gwen surrounds herself with Hallowed Mist for five seconds, gaining armor and magic resist while inside it. Enemies outside the mist cannot target Gwen or land abilities on her. The mist follows Gwen the first time she tries to leave the area, but disappears the next time.
E - Skip 'n Slash

- Gwen dashes a short distance and empowers her attacks for four seconds, gaining range, attack speed, and bonus magic damage on hit. Attacking an enemy during this time refunds 50% of the ability's cooldown.
R - Needlework

- Gwen can use Needlework up to three times, but she must land it on an enemy within 8 seconds to unlock each subsequent use. Each use fires needles that travel in a line, dealing magic damage, slowing enemies, and applying Thousand Cuts' bonus magic damage.
- The first use fires one needle, the second fires three needles, and the last fires five needles. Each of the nine needles that hits an enemy applies Thousand Cuts once (for nine applications total).
