The free version will be enough to download a simple YouTube video:

• Go to the 4K Video Downloader website and select the blue Download button under the 4K Video Downloader heading that corresponds to your computer's operating system. Once the installer has downloaded, run it to install the app on your computer.
• Go to the YouTube video you want to download and copy its URL from the address bar at the top of your browser window. Once the URL is locked in and loaded onto your clipboard, you can close the video's window or tab.
