The Most-Liked Photo on Instagram in 2022!
Previously, the top spot belonged to a photo of an egg. This was a campaign by an account called world_record_egg, aiming to take the title of most-liked photo from Kylie Jenner. But after the conclusion of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where Argentina won for the first time since 1986, Lionel Messi's celebration post overtook the egg photo and broke quite a massive record. The soccer icon's photo picked up more than 43 million likes in under 24 hours. This photo also passed the post of his rival Cristiano Ronaldo playing chess with him in a Louis Vuitton ad before the World Cup. Messi's post now has over 73 million likes, and engagement keeps climbing.
