You can install Google services on a Huawei phone with GSpace, DualSpace or by downgrading to EMUI 10 for Googlefier, as explained in the three methods below. After the embargo, Google made its apps and services available only on devices with a Play Protect certification. Since Google and Huawei were not allowed to cooperate, the phones do not have the certificate. Therefore GMS is not present out of the box. On the other hand, it is possible to download and use almost all apps on Android devices by installing APK files. Method 1

• Open the Huawei App Gallery app on your smartphone or tablet.
• Type GSpace in the search field and download the app.
• Enter your Google account information and settings inside the app.
• Then you can install any app you want in GSpace's special area and use it.

Method 2

• Download the DualSpace app.
• After installing the app, wait for the Google services to be set up.
• After setup you will see the Google Play Store icon.
• From this point on, you can use the Play Store by signing in with your Google account.

Method 3 (Downgrading the device to EMUI 10 for Googlefier)

• Download the Huawei HiSuite software for your Windows PC from the Huawei website.
• In Settings, enable the “Allow HiSuite to use HDB” option.
• This will let you connect your device and computer (HiSuite) without using USB debugging mode.
• Open the HiSuite software on your computer.
• Connect your Huawei device to the PC with a USB cable.
• Once connected, you will see the device's model number in the HiSuite window.
• Click the “Update” button in HiSuite.
• Click the “Switch to another version” button.
• After installation, you can download and install Googlefier.
