Life Simulator is a game that makes life -- or in this case, playing -- worth it. Drawing heavy inspiration from games like BitLife and The Sims, Life Simulator has a much lighter and more relaxed tone than the two. On top of that, it's a clicker game that focuses on growing your character without much effort required. It's a great fit for players who don't have much time to play life simulator games during the day. Many players also consider Life Simulator one of the best AFK life sim games ever made.
If you're someone who thinks it's worth spending time on, stick with our strategy guide. Let's show you how to get rich quickly in the game with minimal effort.

How to Play Life Simulator: Beginner's Guide
Choose a Career
Unlike BitLife, you start out as an adult right away. After customizing your avatar, you can dive into the game of responsibility and personal growth. Of course, like every responsible adult, you need to find a job. You have four career options: Arts, Gastronomy, Sports, and Technology. As long as your grandma in the game approves, any of the four will work.
Let's go over a summary of each career:
ARTS
You draw, you sculpt, and you see creativity in things other people can't. The Arts career is for those who seek happiness through cultural creativity. Your goal is to become a global icon in the art department. You can choose to become an artistic celebrity or open your own art school.
GASTRONOMY
Whoever picks Gastronomy chooses to conquer the world through people's taste buds. Become a culinary champion while cooking great food, and captivate your audience with your plating and delicious service. If you make it all the way to the end, you'll eventually earn the title of Master Chef. In other words, it's considered the most chosen career in the Idle Life community.
It also has the lowest income compared to Arts, but it has one of the easiest promotion tracks in the game.
SPORTS
If you've got what it takes to become a mega sports celebrity, the Sports career is for you. In this section, you can choose whichever sport you like. If you're good enough as an athlete, you can become the star player of the number one basketball team or the captain of Europe's strongest football team.
TECHNOLOGY
While there's no Science career in this game, there's a career just as meaningful as in real life: a spot in the Technology department. In this job, you can become a programmer, a coder, or a game developer. Since promotions can sometimes be very rare, it's probably one of the hardest careers to play. Here, at the peak of your career, you can become a cloud developer, or even an ethical hacker.
How to Make Money Fast in Life Simulator's Life Simulation
So, if you want to make quick money and buy the coolest things in the store, you need promotions fast. But how do you get promoted? Luckily, when it comes to climbing the ranks at your job, it's not as tedious as The Sims. You just need to follow a few specific steps:
You'll need to find a briefcase icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. Tap it to open it. Here, you'll find modules you can tap to learn more about them. Tap the "Learn" button to upgrade a module. Keep in mind that every module comes with perks that give you purchase discounts, salary raises, and improved stats.
Once you've clicked enough, you should find a locked job as you progress through your career. Once you meet the requirements, your character is ready for promotion. Tap the "Get Promoted" icon to find a new position at your job. Remember, the more promotions you get, the more requirements you'll need to meet.
As you eventually get promoted, you'll level up. To level up, you need a "Status" that has a golden crown icon. You can achieve this by buying certain furniture from the store. However, make sure the furniture you buy matches your chosen career.
Once you finish buying brand new furniture, you should find a couch icon in the top left corner of the screen. Tap the item you bought to place it anywhere in the room. Your level increases every time you place a piece of furniture. The more you buy and place, the faster you'll level up.
Income Multipliers Bring More Money
This technique is for free-to-play users. You need to tap ads to double your hourly wage. You can find ads via a green video icon at the bottom of the screen. Every time you finish watching a 30-second ad, you get a x2 multiplier for 10 minutes. You can do this as many times as you like.
Fast Promotion Means Fast Moolah
Basically, if you want your character to get promoted quickly, staying low-effort active in this clicker game is enough. Life Simulator is a very easy, casual game that won't give you a headache.
