LoL 13.13 Patch Notes: New Varus VO and Balance Changes

After the LoL 13.12 patch, the next League of Legends patch is coming up pretty soon! LoL 13.13 Patch Notes Release Date

Patch 13.13 is expected to arrive on live servers on June 28, 2023.

LoL Patch 13.13 Preview: New Varus Voiceover

Varus is a champion released back in 2012. Riot Games is finally adding some new voice lines for the champion.

He'll become much more consistent with Varus's VO from the card game Legends of Runeterra. The writer of Varus's new voiceover said the teams from both games worked in close collaboration to make him feel like the same character in both titles.

The new voiceover will also include lines referencing the other Darkin champions from Legends of Runeterra.

P – Garden of Thorns

• Plant Damage from AoE Spells: 4 >>> 3
• Plant Damage to Monsters: 150% damage to non-epic monsters >>> 40-100 bonus magic damage to all monsters (scaling with level)

W – Rampant Growth

• Seeds on First Cast: 1 >>> 2

E – Grasping Roots

• No longer locks Flash while casting

R – Stranglethorns

• Cast Paradigm: Walk to Position >>> Cast at Max Range
• Missile Damage Update Cadence: 4/s >>> 16/s

Xerath

Base Stats

• Base Mana: 459 >>> 400

P - Mana Surge

• Cooldown: Reduced by 2 seconds per takedown

R – Rite of the Arcane

• Missiles: 3-5 >>> 3-7
• Base Damage: 200-300 >>> 200-280
• AP Ratio: 45% >>> 40%
• 20-30 + 5% AP bonus damage per champion hit
