LoL 14.7 PBE Patch Notes: Skarner Rework Details

With the LoL 14.7 patch, along with the April Fools skins, the game is also getting some much-needed balance changes. Riot Games is planning to shake up the game's balance again with this patch. When is the LoL 14.7 patch coming out? Let's take a close look at the details of the 14.7 PBE patch.

The new patch is expected to be added to live servers on April 3, 2024.

Skarner Rework

Passive - Quaking Threads

• Skarner's attacks, Shattered Earth, Upheaval, and Impale apply Quaking to enemies. Enemies with three stacks of Quaking take a percentage of Maximum HP damage over time.

Q - Shattered Earth / Upheaval

• Skarner pulls a rock from the ground and uses it to empower his next three attacks with bonus damage, range, and attack speed. His third attack slams the rock into its target, slowing them and ending the effect while dealing significant bonus damage.
• Skarner can recast Upheaval to hurl the rock as a projectile that explodes on the first enemy it hits, dealing the same damage and slow while ending the effect.

W - Seismic Bulwark

• Skarner gains a shield and slams the ground, releasing a shockwave that damages and slows nearby enemies.

E - Ixtal's Impact

• Skarner charges forward ignoring terrain, grabbing the first enemy champion or large monster he collides with. He can then carry them a short distance, dealing damage and stunning them if they hit terrain.

R - Impale

• Skarner impales up to three enemy champions, dealing damage and suppressing them. Skarner briefly gains bonus movement speed and carries it with him until the end of the effect.
