LoL Patch 12.2 Support Tier List (January 2022)

Lulu got nerfed in this patch, but will that have an impact on the bot lane? Will Senna be totally OP with her buffs? There are a lot of questions, but we will answer them all here.

These are statistically the best support champions for Season 12. Lock them in and carry the bot lane; the two of you will never give up!

5. Blitzcrank

Do you like leaving the lane and being a second jungler for your team? Are you good at skill shots? Say no more, this is the champion for you.

Blitzcrank stands out in the current meta because many shielded mage supports are strong. His ultimate will pop those annoying shields after you pull enemies out of position with his hook! Pick this champion and make Lulu hate life!

4. Lulu

Lulu's W was nerfed in this patch. But it was only a few seconds on her W. That longer cooldown will not matter in the later stages because Lulu will already build plenty of ability haste to counter it. Then she will keep dominating the bot lane.

3. Zyra

Zyra is a huge beneficiary of Rylai's buff. Yes, the item no longer has as much AP as before, but it is much cheaper and good... flash-flash supports do not earn that much gold, so any discount on good items is commendable. Slow combined with her plants is insane! There is a lot of potential with Zyra in this patch.

2. Leona

Leona can't be overlooked in this patch either. She dominated the support meta throughout all of Season 11, and that won't change in early Season 12. Build Evenshroud to be the best engage support out there, and with the Force of Nature buffs she can also deal with opponents who roam into the mid lane.

1. Soraka

Ever tried to push an ADC out of the lane, but Soraka keeps healing them? Playing against that lane is frustrating and hard! That is one of the reasons Soraka is such a strong solo queue champion, especially at low Elo. Her crazy burst-heal output gives your teammates a "get out of jail free card" in many situations!

Right now Soraka is a bit OP! With a 7.4% pick rate, she is the support with the second-highest win rate in the game, which means she will get nerfed soon. Riot will nerf her, so grab your LP now in LoL Patch 12.02!
