LEC's 2022 season kicks off in two weeks, in January. Some teams look extremely strong with brand-new rosters, while we're still not sure what to make of others — but one thing we do know is that we're ready for the upcoming LEC fiesta.
Ever since it was rebranded as the LEC, the European League of Legends Championship has become one of the most-watched and popular professional leagues. Player selection and production are through the roof, so let's check out which teams we'll be watching on January 14, 2022.
Astralis 2022 Roster
Astralis quickly wrapped up its roster by adding mid laner Dajor and picking up local Danish talent Kobbe as its bot laner. This lineup is an upgrade on the 2021 roster, so we're excited to see where they land by the end of spring.

This lineup looks great. Adding Wunder to the top lane is fantastic, as is Humanoid in the mid lane. With Hylia and Upset's title-winning bot lane, Fnatic is itching to go this season.

G2 Esports 2022 Roster
Caps and Jankos are the only pieces left over from the 2021 season. The rest of the team was built around the duo. Broken Blade is joining from Schalke 04 and is known for playing well, but we'll have to wait and see whether this roster can compete at the same level as the 2019/2020 G2.
