How did Karmine Corp steal game three?

KC played a patient third game, stacking Barons and an Elder Dragon to break T1's tempo. The Blue Wall's run from Play-Ins to Knockouts still ends in the quarters, but the fight back showed why they reached this stage.

Why does the T1 vs BLG semifinal matter?

BLG swept Dplus KIA 3-0 to set up an LCK–LPL classic. The other semi pairs Gen.G with Invictus Gaming, so the final four is entirely from those two regions.

T1 locks at least a top-four finish and a $400,000 prize share. KC takes home $300,000. Faker continues to perform at 30, while Peyz and Keria were the decisive duo in game four.

What should fans watch in the semis?

Draft priority around bot lane and mid skirmishes will matter. T1 has never finished outside the Worlds semifinals across 11 appearances. KC previously beat T1 at EWC; Worlds was the rematch stage.

Check lolesports and Twitch for live times in your zone. Patch 16.22 still frames the meta. VODs of Keria's flash-ultimate and Peyz's Miss Fortune fights are worth a rewatch before Sunday's semi.

Western teams are out of the final four this year. That sharpens the LCK–LPL narrative heading into the grand final weekend in Allen.

What else should players and fans keep in mind?

When you follow this story, separate three layers: the official announcement, reputable desk reporting, and social speculation. If mobile and PC differ, read each platform's own notes. Console players should also check storage and preload times. On the esports side, a roster post is not always the same as a countersigned contract the same day—partner-league rules still apply.
