Wo0t has joined FUT Esports for VCT 2027 EMEA. Mert "Wo0t" Alkan returns to a Turkish partner roster after leaving Team Heretics in October 2026.

Reports from Sheep Esports and THESPIKE say Vitality and Sentinels were also options. Wo0t waited for FUT, and the club announced the move on Friday.

Why did Wo0t choose FUT Esports?

Wo0t broke out at Masters Shanghai 2024 with a 247 ACS duelist run for Heretics. Later seasons never fully matched that peak; Champions 2025's 1.03 rating was the closest encore. Role swaps and inconsistency followed him into free agency.

What does FUT's 2027 roster look like so far?

THESPIKE notes FUT is still building around the signing, with Eray "qRaxs" already linked to the project. Local names such as batujnax and hezacoil are also in the rumour mill. Partner status means a direct Kickoff berth.

What does this mean for VCT EMEA?

A high-ceiling flex/duelist rejoining a Turkish-speaking core is FUT's bet on consistency. The wider offseason is busy: Boaster left FNATIC, Gen.G locked Dambi and MaKo, and China/Americas desks keep moving.

More context: FNATIC crashies departure, Valorant patch notes, and Valorant connection fixes.

Which career highs define Wo0t?

Shanghai remains the highlight reel. Heretics chased international trophies without lifting the biggest ones. At FUT the brief is clearer: lock a role, survive league pace, and push for international qualification.

Watch for the remaining roster slots before Kickoff. Agent pools and map preferences will surface once scrims leak. For now the official line is simple: Wo0t wears FUT in 2027 EMEA.

Partner teams enter the year with structural stability. That makes individual star fittings—like Wo0t's—more important than mid-season panic buys.

What else should players and fans keep in mind?

When you follow this story, separate three layers: the official announcement, reputable desk reporting, and social speculation. Convert times to your local zone, diary store or reward windows, and confirm account region. Launch-day queues are normal—avoid panic buys or ranked grinds in the first hour.

Past cycles show early leaks change quickly. Do not amplify build, transfer, or pricing claims without a primary link. Our sources section points straight at the official text so you can verify in one click.

If mobile and PC differ, read each platform's own notes. Console players should also check storage and preload times. On the esports side, a roster post is not always the same as a countersigned contract the same day—partner-league rules still apply.
