In this film, which takes us back to the very beginning of the series, Young, who carries a birthmark on his chest in the shape of the Mortal Kombat symbol, will meet Sonya Blade. She will then take him to Lord Raiden's temple and introduce him to a group of highly skilled fighters. Beyond that point we don't know much about the rest of the film, but it would not be wrong to say that plenty of fight scenes and deaths await us.
We also learned that the film will include "crazy deaths" that will please fans of the series. We will see in the film the special finishing moves, fatalities, that we perform in the games after killing our opponent.
Tan, who performed his own stunts on set, said, "Get ready to see crazy deaths" and added: "We picked some iconic signature moves, and the shooting of these scenes was incredible. There are scenes that will freeze everyone's blood when they see them, and you won't believe what you see when you watch the film"
