How Do I Start NBA 2K21's MyCareer Mode?
Starting MyCareer mode in NBA 2K21 is quite simple and can be done right after downloading the game. All you need to do is open the main menu from the Start screen and scroll down to the MyCareer option. This will launch the mode, letting you create a brand new character of your own design or import a character you may have made during the demo.

What Are NBA 2K21 MyTeam Tokens?
Unlike the VC currency, Tokens are a separate NBA 2K21 currency specific to the MyTeam mode. You can use Tokens to buy players from the player auction market.
All the cards on the market are ranked by rarity tier:
- Emerald
- Sapphire
- Ruby
- Amethyst
- Diamond
- Pink Diamond
- Galaxy Opal
To unlock some of the rarer tiers, you need to own a certain number of cards from the previous tier. At the start, you'll only be able to spend Tokens on Emerald cards, but once you get 10 Emerald cards from this menu, you'll gain access to Sapphire cards.
