NBA 2K24 Wishlist: 5 Changes Fans Want (March 2023)

As you know, while NBA 2K23 is still going, it is slowly becoming time for the series' new game, NBA 2K24. NBA 2K24 needs to make changes to fix some problems the 2K community has pointed out. There are 5 improvements we need in the game so far. With these changes, a large number of players could switch to NBA 2K24. What will be new in NBA 2K24? What Will Be New in NBA 2K24?

Changes to the MyCARRER Story

MyCAREER, one of the most played modes in NBA 2K23, is a core element of the NBA 2K series. Users who prefer to play offline love the game mode. Competitive players also need to play it to improve their character attributes before battling other players in MyPARK. The MyCAREER story in NBA 2K23 was heavily criticized. Players wanted to get immersed in the story but found themselves skipping cutscenes, so this problem needs to be fixed in the new game. Players not being able to choose where their story begins is another big problem.

A New City

Everyone was amazed when The City came out. Being able to run around the city, visit the NBA store and the gym, and make your own apartment feel surreal was incredible. Going outside and seeing your character's face on billboards and many other things gave players a unique experience. However, it has aged over the years, and players now need a new city with completely different features. To make the city feel brand new, new features such as new buildings and the ability to drive different cars need to be added.

Moments of the Week

The MyTEAM game mode needs some serious changes. Its rewards are not good enough, and players have to spend a lot of time completing the challenges. It also does not help players improve their teams, which is the main goal of all MyTEAM game modes. Many players complained about the selected challenges, saying they make no sense.

Hackers in MyPARK

Players who regularly play MyPARK on PC know that the chance of running into a hacker is quite high. These players will have a 60 OVR with all stats at the minimum. However, they have many famous badges and will struggle at 99 OVR to keep up with them. Playing against hackers takes all the fun out of the game and ruins the whole gaming experience.

Pay to Win

Another issue we may need addressed in NBA 2K24 is an end to the microtransactions that make the game pay to win. Players can buy VC, use it to improve their MyPLAYER's stats, and reach 99 OVR more easily and quickly. This completely ends the grind aspect of the game, where users have to play many matches to earn enough VC to improve their attributes. It also puts "free-to-play" players at a big disadvantage, because they will have to spend plenty of time catching up with players who simply buy VC. Starting the game at 60 OVR, entering the city and seeing players at 88 OVR on day one is currently a challenging situation for us.

NBA 2K24 Release Date

NBA 2K21 was released on Friday, September 4, 2020. After this game, we met NBA 2K22 on September 10, 2021, and NBA 2K23 on September 9, 2022. Our prediction for NBA 2K24 is Friday, September 8, 2023.
