With this formation, you both adapt to the opponent's game plan and use your own strengths. By copying the opponent's tactic, you can establish balance in the match while also keeping your own team's strengths.

• Midfield: Support defense
• Defense: Stay in position
• Defensive style: Zonal marking
• Offside trap: None

This tactic aims to copy the opponent's game plan and hit them with their own weapons. In particular, to neutralize the opponent's strong wingers, you can attack down the wings and exploit their weak points. With zonal marking and high pressing, try not to leave any space for the opposing players.

5-2-3-A Tactics

Tactic Details and Implementation Strategies

What matters in all three tactics is stopping the opponent's wing play and making effective attacks by using your own strengths. By keeping the midfield crowded, you can close off the opponent's passing lanes and increase your time on the ball. In attack, you can exploit the opponent's defensive weaknesses by using your wide players.

Not using the offside trap lets you be more flexible against the opponent's quick attacks.
