We broadcast a tournament we held among friends on the Gamer Papers Youtube channel, and listened to the tactics and player usage of the managers who finished at the top of the league. Sirparlak, the Manchester United manager who led the tournament from the front and went into the final weeks with a big advantage, joined our broadcast and shared all the tactics he used in the GP OSM 23 tournament with complete openness.

How Do You Build the OSM Championship-Winning 4-3-3B Tactic?

What Are the OSM 23 4-3-3B Tactical Lineup and Sliders?

Playstyle:

• Use the Wings

Tactical Lineup:

• Forwards: Stay Forward
• Midfielders: Support Defense
• Defenders: Stay Back

Marking:

• Zone Marking

Offside Trap:

• No

Aggression:

• If Referee Is Yellow: Normal
• If Referee Is Red: Careful
• If Referee Is Blue: Aggressive
• If Referee Is Green: Very Aggressive

Sliders:

• Pressure: 63 (Play Close to Opponent)
• Style: 73 (Offensive)
• Tempo: 68 (Fast Passing)

I always use the same playstyle and tactical lineup, and I'm in favor of consistency. If you've settled on a tactic, it's important not to break it and to build on it instead. Constantly trying to come up with different tactics will require a lot of experimenting, and that can lead to a quick loss of points.

Even though I make small changes to the sliders in some matches, I make sure to stay close to the sliders I've given based on the opponent's strength and not disrupt them too much.

Can You Tell Us About the 4-5-1 Tactic You Use in the Toughest Matches?

In the 4-5-1 tactic, I again use players in their own positions, which is why I keep both a right winger and a left winger on my team. Since only one out-and-out striker is played, it's enough for me to place my out-and-out striker. Apart from that, I again build the two players who join the attack as two two-way eights. My defensive midfielder is very defense-minded, and my defensive logic stays the same. Since the fullbacks matter a bit less in this tactic, and there are matches I go into with a "let me at least salvage a draw" mindset, you can also use fullbacks with a stronger defensive side. Apart from that, since I can comfortably use similar players for both tactics, I can easily get through the season with these two tactics. It's enough to just add two central-midfield wide players.

• Shoot on Sight

Tactical Lineup:

• Forwards: Stay Forward
• Midfielders: Support Defense
• Defenders: Stay Back

Marking:

• If Referee Is Yellow: Normal

• Pressure: 65 (Play Close to Opponent)
• Style: 38 (Defensive)
• Tempo: 67 (Fast Passing)

If your opponent is stronger than you and you're heading into a very tough match, you can also build your tactic by pulling your pressure and tempo back a bit.
