VALORANT has kept growing its player base since launch. However, various errors sometimes appear in the game. The latest error players are running into is the "PMID temporarily disabled" error. What Is the PMID VALORANT Error?

Riot Games sometimes chooses to manually disable features to prevent another detected issue from getting worse, or to make server maintenance work easier.

The PMID (Payment ID) disabled error, as its name suggests, doesn't affect your gameplay in any way, but it does disable key payment methods for some or all regions depending on how widespread the other issue is.

If this notice is active in your game region, you may not be able to purchase VALORANT Points (VP) or Radianite Points (RP) using certain payment methods. However, if you purchased VP or RP before the PMID disabled error appeared, you can still use them regardless of the restriction.

How Do You Fix It?

Unfortunately, there is currently no way to fix the PMID disabled error in VALORANT yourself, but as noted, it won't affect your gameplay; since it's an internal error, Riot Games is the one that has to resolve it directly.

If you're still seeing this VALORANT notice, your in-game store purchases, and more specifically certain payment methods, may be restricted. If your first choice doesn't work, you can always try other payment methods in the meantime. However, in some cases PMID errors can become widespread, and in that case Riot may restrict the use of all payment methods.
