PUBG's Miramar Map Is Getting a Full Remaster

PUBG's developers are going to redesign Miramar, the game's large desert map. Outlining the game's roadmap for the rest of the year, PUBG Corp shared plans for a major remaster of Miramar. The map had already received a minor touch-up before to bring it in line with the game's other arenas, but with the 12.1 update, the desert map will see major changes to its lighting, performance, graphical accuracy, and topography.

On the topic, PUBG Corp said, "Expect to see major revisions to terrain-building textures and layouts, easier transitions thanks to the removal of unnecessary obstacles, and even updated cliffs that fit the game better." Two new maps named "Tiger" and "Kiki" were also revealed. Tiger will contribute significantly after Miramar's redesign and will bring a rebirth to PUBG's battle royale style.
