How Does the PUBG Mobile Rank System Work?

Players earn rank based on the total rating they accumulate while playing PUBG Mobile. Ratings are awarded for survival, kills, support, and more. A different rank is assigned to the player for each game mode. A player is ranked separately in each category based on their performance in solo, duo, or squad mode, and whether they play in Third Person Perspective (TPP) or First Person Perspective (FPP).

The rank shown to your friends is the highest rank you've reached in any mode. Let's say you're ranked Silver 4 in FPP solo and Gold 1 in TPP squad. The rank your friends will see is Gold 1, because the best rating you have across all game modes is Gold 1.

Many players wonder how to rank up more easily but don't know what to do. Below are the tips you should follow to rank up as fast as possible in PUBG Mobile.

1. Decide Which Game Mode You Enjoy the Most

Since the rank shown to other players on your profile will be your best rank across all game modes, pick the mode you enjoy the most and watch your rank climb faster. Playing on maps you're familiar with will make it easier for you to survive longer and earn the rank points you need.

2. Surviving Longer Will Earn You More Points

While playing PUBG Mobile, your kill rate will earn you fewer points than your survival time. Once you understand these dynamics of PUBG Mobile, taking fewer risks and trying to survive longer will help you rank up more easily.

3. Make Sure You're in a Safe Position Before Killing Your Opponent

This is an extension of the previous point. Often, you'll find yourself running toward the shrinking zone and spot someone running ahead of you, unaware of your presence. Usually, you wait before entering the safe zone and try to kill that other player, right? Wrong! 6. Play as Many Games as Possible on the Sanhok Map

Sanhok is a smaller map compared to the traditional PUBG maps. Because the map is smaller, each match also takes less time. A match on Sanhok takes about 25 minutes. A match on the traditional maps takes about 35 minutes. On Sanhok, you can play more matches per hour or two compared to the other maps. That saves you 10 minutes on every match.
