A brand-new era begins today in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, developed by KRAFTON! With the 27.1 update, the doors to RONDO, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS' tenth map, are now open to players. The map is live on PC right now, and will arrive on consoles on December 14.

Also known as The Ground of Honor, RONDO is an 8x8 map with the largest playable area of any map to date. Split into two distinct regions, this vast map has a unique atmosphere that blends familiar gameplay with innovative strategic approaches. Built on PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS' DROP, LOOT, SURVIVE foundations, this massive map arrives with a new narrative and expanded options, promising an exciting, dynamic gameplay experience with new features and content in every match.
RONDO features a wide range of terrain, from the calm lakes and bamboo groves stretching across its southwest to the pronounced hills in its northeast. Key areas like the lush greenery of Yu Lin village, the waterfall-filled scenery of Tin Long Garden, or Mey Ran's riverside architecture offer players a variety of strategic options. Similarly, Jadena City's skyscrapers and neon-lit streets promise intense urban warfare, while the NEOX Factory is set up for unique showdowns. Additional areas like Rin Jiang, Jao Tin, and the Stadium each bring their own distinct challenges for players. The map's innovative features include destructible bamboo and an additional starting plane that opens the door to unexpected landings. RONDO also adds the JS9, an ideal 9mm SMG for close-quarters combat.

KRAFTON also released the official live-action film for RONDO, PUBG | The Ground of Honor: RONDO, today. Directed by Sam Hargrave, director of Extraction and Extraction 2, the short film stars Daniel Wu (The Man with the Iron Fists, Tomb Raider, Reminiscence) and Lee Jung-Jae (Squid Game). Daniel Wu plays Alpha, fighting to keep his whole team alive, while Lee Jung-Jae plays Beta, seeking revenge for the brother killed by Alpha's team. Through a breathtaking battle between two formidable enemies, this short film brings the new map vividly to life.

Player Rewards
To celebrate RONDO's launch, a brand-new Survivor Pass: RONDO is on the way. This update also refreshes the reward system, adding various new Survivor Pass rewards such as G-COIN, Blueprints, Survivor Crates, and Artisan's Tokens. New collaboration items themed around RONDO, featuring actor Daniel Wu as Alpha and Lee Jung-Jae as Beta, will be available for PC players until March 6, 2024, and for console players until March 14, 2024.
