PUBG Season 11: Fulton Extraction, Paramo, and Weapon Balance

Season 10 has ended, and right before moving into Season 11, what you should do is enjoy your rewards. Rewards you earned in the previous season are distributed at the start of Season 11. You can find the rewards in your inventory.

Season 10 rewards

• Ranked Emblem
• Season 10 Ranked Parachute cosmetic
• Season 10 Ranked Mirado cosmetic

Reward Distribution Requirements

• Players who reached any rank by the end of the season will be rewarded with a ranked emblem.
• Players who were Gold V or above by the end of the season will be rewarded with a Mirado cosmetic.
• Players who were Diamond V or above by the end of the season will be rewarded with a Mirado and Parachute cosmetic.

PUBG Season 11 Update and Its New Features

Emergency Evac Balloon

PUBG's latest update added a Metal Gear Solid 5 style Fulton extraction system that lets you and your teammates redeploy to a different spot on the map. This addition comes as part of Patch 11.1, which also reintroduces the new and improved Paramo map along with updates to the medal system.

We can say the Fulton extraction system is one of Metal Gear Solid 5's most popular features, letting players hilariously send priority targets, equipment, or a random spot skyward at high speed using a balloon.

The Return of Paramo

Paramo was a map that PUBG players loved and had long wanted to see return. Taking player feedback into account, PUBG's team added newer game modes, made fixes, and brought it back into the map pool, making it playable in custom matches as well. While the Paramo map is returning for Normal and Custom matches, we can say we're saying goodbye to Haven and Karakin in Season 11.

What's changing with the Paramo update:

• Paramo's terrain continues to evolve, and a new random point has been added.
• Spawn rates for the Secret Room and the Care Package Helicopter have been increased.
• Terrain improvements were made and an extra foxhole was added.

Normal Match

• Up to 64 players, including bots, can play in a match.
• Supports TPP and FPP, and Solo/Duo/Squad.

Custom Match

• Playable in custom matches.
• Added a Secret Room key spawn tab.
• Sandbox mode is available for Partners.

PUBG Season 11 Weapon Balance Updates

To try to make matches more exciting and give players varied, viable combat options, PUBG's team made updates to certain weapons in Season 11. Based on collected data, here's how the weapons coming in the new season will be balanced:

Mini-14

• Damage increased by +1. (46 → 47)

VSS

• Damage increased by +2. (41 → 43)

SCAR-L

• Damage increased by +1. (41 → 42)

SLR

• Horizontal recoil increased by 15%.
• Recoil recovery speed reduced. (2.1 → 1.9)

Beryl

• Horizontal recoil amount increased by 5%.
• Horizontal recoil speed increased. (10 → 11)
• Vertical recoil speed increased by +1.5. (15 → 16.5)

Mastery Medal Update

10 new types of Mastery Medals were added.

• The first medal update focuses on combat kill skills, and this update adds medals focused on various combat situations and survival.
• They can be earned in Normal Matches and Ranked Matches. However, Mastery Medals cannot be earned in Arcade, Labs, or Custom Matches.

PUBG Season 11 ID Update

• Players can display up to two medals on their PUBG ID. Previous tier medals are removed once a higher tier is reached.
• Players can customize their PUBG ID from the Customize tab.
• The PUBG ID will no longer be shown on the passport profile form. Instead, a pop-up profile window containing the player's information will be shown.

Mutual Friends

PUBG's previous friend system only allowed following another player. With the new Mutual Friends feature, players will be able to become friends with each other. More social features will also be added.

• Support for up to 300 friends is provided.
• A "Friend request" tab will be added to the social page. You can find mutual friend status there.
• With the friend request blocking feature, you can block friend requests from players you choose for 30 days. (Once a friend request is blocked, it can't be canceled during that period.)
• The "Following" feature is no longer supported.
• You can find your list of previously followed friends under "Previous list."
• Friend requests can be sent from this list.

PUBG Season 11 Interface Updates

• Kill feed text is no longer supported. Instead, the kill feed is now provided in graphic form, and the option to select the kill feed has been removed.
• For better visibility, the knockdown and headshot icons have now been separated.

PUBG Season 11's New Feature: Match Log

Since kill feed text is no longer supported, a screen showing a log of matches has been added, using the previous kill feed text feature.

• The Match Log feature can be accessed from the System Menu.
• You can see important messages. (all messages displayed in the center of the screen)
• You can see kill messages.

Match Log is not provided in the following situations

• All modes that support respawning.
• Ranked and Esports modes.
• Modes that don't support kill feeds
• Training Mode

Match Logs will be enabled in the following modes:

• Battle royale mode.
• Zombie mode.
• Domination mode.
• Match Logs are also supported in Spectator mode as well as in Ranked and Esports modes.

Store Improvements

• We're bringing a newly designed G-Coin page.
• Items can now be easily found by selecting a subcategory.
• Categories with no items will be disabled.
• Some categories have been renamed.
• A subcategory has been added.
• Model size has been adjusted in the preview.

QoL Improvements

• The maximum number of participants is displayed in the Customize tab's emote settings.
• Players can create up to three Custom Match sessions, meaning a player won't have to wait to start a new session.
• A new poll system is coming. When a new poll starts, players will be notified via the notification center.

TDM Map Spawn Ratio Change

• Based on various pieces of community feedback, Sanhok's matchmaking ratio will be slightly reduced in TDM.

Performance Improvements

• We improved server performance by reducing iteration costs.
• We optimized the cost of the level streaming process to improve stutters during level streaming.
• We improved unnecessary reflection-related costs and optimized reflection-related computation inside buildings..
• We improved the iteration method to fix a server stutter issue related to care packages.
• We removed the Red Zone component we previously generated from the server, and the Red Zone's location is now only given to clients so they can render the red zones.
• Image loading speeds have been improved outside of gameplay.
