Razer Announces New Razer Blade Lineup at CES 2022

Razer announced the Razer Blade 14, Razer Blade 15 and Razer Blade 17 laptop models at CES 2022.

The world's fastest laptops for gamers and content creators are equipped with the recently announced NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 30 series GPUs, including the RTX 3080 Ti. The new Blades, which come with Windows 11, are better than ever. Every new Razer Blade gaming laptop now also comes with groundbreaking features. DDR5 memory delivers incredible clock speeds of up to 4800 MHz, a frequency increase of up to 50% compared to the previous generation. On top of that, the new 4th-generation Max-Q Technologies — with CPU Optimizer, Rapid Core Scaling and Battery Boost 2.0 — further improve efficiency, performance and battery life.

Razer Blade 14

The new Razer Blade 14 combines the latest AMD Ryzen™ 9 processor with 16 GB of DDR5 memory to create a lightning-fast gaming machine that surpasses the previous generation. The Blade 14 remains an extremely thin, light and compact device with flawless performance, and it now comes packed with more improvements to make a great gaming laptop even better. With a newly implemented MUX Switch, the Blade 14 shows gains in gaming performance by using the discrete GPU to render games on the built-in display. The Razer Blade 14 also now makes video calls twice as clear as before, thanks to a fingerprint-resistant coating and a 1080p IR webcam upgrade that supports Windows Hello.

The new IPS-grade display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut for superior clarity and contrast while gaming or creating content, all while offering improved refresh rates over the previous generation's 60 Hz. Razer Blade 17

The new Razer Blade 17 targets professional content creators and gamers looking to move from desktop to laptop, as it comes with dedicated improvements in both audio and power. The Razer Blade 17 doubles down on both music and gaming. Thanks to the new system's eight total speakers, up from four in the previous generation, content creators will be able to capture the smallest details of an audio mix even without dedicated speakers or headphones. Thanks to NVIDIA Studio platform support, content creators will also be able to get RTX acceleration in more than 70 of the most popular creative apps, as well as a range of dedicated apps like NVIDIA Omniverse, Broadcast and Canvas. Gamers, meanwhile, will be able to enjoy longer gaming sessions than ever, whether unplugged or on the move, thanks to an 82 WHr built-in battery — more than 10 WHr larger than the previous generation. On top of that, when traveling with the Blade 17, you'll carry less weight, thanks to the newly designed 280 W GaN charger replacing the previous brick-sized 180 W charger.
