How to Fix the LoL "Game Is Still in Progress" Error (2022)

League of Legends players sometimes run into the "game is still in progress" problem. This error usually appears after players have picked a champion and waited a long time in the window that opens to start the game. Players who cannot get into the game and are having connection problems want to restart League of Legends to fix it, but because they get the "game is still in progress" error, that is not really possible. • If you cannot launch the game properly, try repairing it. If your game files are missing or corrupted, use the "verify game file integrity" tool.
• Check your internet connection.
• The reason you cannot reconnect to the game may be compatibility issues, so you should run the compatibility troubleshooter: Find League of Legends.exe in the game's installation folder, then right-click it and go to "Properties". Select the "Compatibility" tab, tick the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for", and choose "Windows 8". Click "Run compatibility troubleshooter". Click the "Try recommended settings" option. Click "Test the program" and follow the instructions.
• Apart from these, changing your DNS server address will also largely fix your problem of getting into the game.
