Who Is LoL Zeri?

League of Legends's 158th champion, Zeri, comes from Zaun. Born to a working-class family, she spent her life fighting the chem-barons polluting the undercity. With help from her neighbors in the Entresol, she managed to turn her electric powers into a rifle and a big jacket to keep them under control.

On Summoner's Rift, Zeri is bright, cheerful, and always ready for a fight. She can be played in both the bot lane and the solo lane.

What Is LoL Zeri's Best Build?

Zeri has a few build options, but her best one is her crit build. It's the most reliable for dealing damage after the laning phase. Common staples like Galeforce and Immortal Shieldbow work well on her too, so you can build a fairly traditional marksman build. However, you don't want to push her attack speed cap too hard.

For Zeri's crit build, there are two different two-item power spikes: Phantom Dancer and Lord Dominik's Regards for popping tanks, or Infinity Edge and Rapid Firecannon for high-speed damage. The first is great for scaling, while the second can snowball you in the mid game. Pick whichever is best for you depending on the state of the game.

Speaking of the crit build, Zeri's on-hit build is strong too. Build Trinity Force and focus on items like Nashor's Tooth, Wit's End, and Blade of the Ruined King. This may not be as powerful as Zeri's typical build, but it can work if you want to trigger the massive Ability Power procs the way Ezreal does with Essence Reaver.

What Is LoL Zeri's Meta Build?

• Legendary: Galeforce / Immortal Shieldbow (if facing a lot of burst)
• Boots: Mercury's Treads (against CC) / Plated Steelcaps (against heavy AD) / Boots of Swiftness (all other situations)
• Starting Items: Doran's Blade + Health Potion
• Phantom Dancer

• Rapid Firecannon (great with Infinity Edge)
• Guardian Angel (should be bought late in the game)

What Is the Best Rune for LoL Zeri?

Some players are torn between Lethal Tempo and Conqueror, but the latter is clearly the better option.

Lethal Tempo lets you deal a lot of damage on-hit, and the attack speed boost gives you a ton of extra AS once you hit the cap. However, the healing and true damage on Conqueror are far too good to pass up, not to mention that stacking it up on Zeri is quite easy. Conqueror is best for Zeri's crit build, but Lethal Tempo is solid if you want to try on-hit.
