LoL RURF Mode Is Coming With Patch 12.2

A beloved mode is making its return in the beloved game League of Legends! The mode players love, Random Ultra Competition Factor, better known as RURF, will be added to the game soon. So what is RURF mode? Let's take a look together at when this mode players have been waiting for will be added to the game.

What Is LoL RURF Mode?

When starting a URF game, players will see the Awesome Sauce buff appear above the champion bar. This buff is exclusive to a handful of game modes in LoL, and for every Summoner it cuts mana and energy costs by 100% as well as cutting the health costs of abilities in half.

Players who play ranged champions will have their bonus attack speed doubled, while melee champions will get extra attack speed equal to 1.5 times their normal attack speed. URF also has a few more buffs, including an extra 300 Ability Haste, Item Haste, and Summoner Spell Haste, as well as 25% extra tenacity. On top of that, thanks to both increased champion speed and an extra 60% movement speed, you'll get far more mobility than you could imagine.

Unlike URF, you won't be able to pick your champion in RURF mode. You'll play with a champion assigned to you.

When Will LoL RURF Arrive? 2022

LoL's RURF mode is planned to be added to the game with Patch 12.2. Barring any hiccups, we should be able to see RURF mode in the game a few days after the patch goes live on January 26.
