3 Best Top Lane Champions for LoL Beginners

New to League of Legends and want to know which champions are good to start with? We're here to help you get ahead in this season's ranked climb. You can have a pretty comfortable time in the top lane in LoL.

So, do you want a strong tank champion, or someone who can carry the game alongside you? We've found it all for our beginner tier list. These are some of the easiest top lane players to start with!

Top 3 Champions for LoL Beginners!

3. Garen

Garen is one of the easiest champions to start with. He's extremely tanky and won't get killed after being ganked by a jungler. He can escape danger with his spin, and he also has bonus armor and defense in his kit.

Honestly, Garen is a perfect champion to start with as a complete beginner in League of Legends. You'll be safe in the laning phase, and once you have one or two items, you can easily execute enemies thanks to his ultimate. Honestly, you can't go wrong with Garen's simple and effective kit.

2. Tryndamere

Tryndamere is another champion who's easy to pick up and extremely strong. He has a gap closer, a heal, and his ultimate is basically an "I don't die" button. You just need to practice to get the timing right, and you can be the one who makes the fundamental difference in any fight.

Tryndamere loves to fight, and by constantly diving into skirmishes, you'll learn the limits of your abilities and your champion. So get out there, fight, and cut down enemy top laners with your giant sword.

1. Sett

Sett is a simple champion. He has two fists and he knows how to use them. He also has one of the best early games of any top laner thanks to the Facebreaker and Haymaker combo.

If you want a fun champion to start with, you can't go wrong with Sett. Like a tank, he has good sustain, and he deals so much damage that no other top laner can even get close to him.
