Item Guide: LoL Eclipse Stats and Passive Breakdown

Cost: 3200 Gold + 55 Attack Damage + 8% Omnivamp + 18 Lethality Gold efficiency without the passive: 72.9% What makes Eclipse so great in top lane is the passive that grants you bonus movement speed. Also, if you hit an enemy with 2 basic attacks within 1.5 seconds, you gain a shield and deal bonus damage based on their maximum health. Pretty clean, right?

So what makes this passive so good for top lane players? Well, you're playing against big tanks a lot, right? And they have a ton of maximum health, right? 6% of that gets dealt as extra damage, which is insane! And that's not even mentioning that you'll likely have an attack reset in your kit, giving you tons of movement speed to run down or escape your opponents.

Item Guide: Which Champions Should Use LoL Eclipse?

If you really want to try out this item, we recommend picking champions like Riven or Xin Zhao, since they have the coveted attack reset we just mentioned. This means they gain a ton of movement speed -- Riven is already fast, and she can dash quickly too.

Eclipse also comes with some built-in Omnivamp, which is extremely nice to have on these champions. They'll be able to survive and sustain through pretty much any fight. A fast Riven with Omnivamp? Then, thanks to our Eclipse Item Guide, your win rate just went way up... right?

Eclipse is a versatile item that can be built in a lot of situations. So even if you're stuck auto-filled into jungle, pick Xin Zhao, build Eclipse, and tear your opponent apart.
