Sniper Elite 5 Beginner's Guide: Best Skills and Abilities

Health Boost I & II

Things do not always go as planned, and you may suddenly find yourself in a melee fight with your enemy. You can take some damage in these fights, which is exactly why you will want to use Health Boost I and II, part of the body skill circle. Thanks to this feature, you get an extra bar on your health meter at both tiers, but you should know that Health Boost I needs only a single skill point to buy, while Health Boost II needs two skill points.

Cardio

You will need to spend some time getting across the map in the game, and you need to avoid enemies to get into better positions. That is why taking Cardio, found in the body skill circle and costing one skill point, will be very useful. Thanks to this skill, your heart rate will drop while running, and when you reach your target you can use the skill to slow time and make great shots.

There is an ability you need for safe and easy long-range shots: Deep Breath. It appears as the last option worth having in the body skill circle and requires two skill points. This ability will lower your heart rate while using Empty Lung and give you more time in the game, and you can reactivate the ability when needed.

Extra Item Slot I & II

After gathering all your equipment before a mission, you will notice you have the option to bring a wide variety of items for healing and utility. You can use Extra Item Slot I and II, costing one and two skill points respectively, to increase your item carrying capacity one step at a time.

Steady Hand

The last thing you want when aiming through the scope is for your scope to be damaged. To ease this a bit, you can go to the combat skill circle and use Steady Hand, which requires one skill point. With this skill, the scope damage you take when you are hit while aiming will be greatly reduced. With Steady Hand, you will be able to concentrate on your target more comfortably.
