Steam Level Grinding: How to Level Up Fast

Steam is a pretty great platform built for many game genres. Your own profile, and everyone else's, has a level section. The logic behind leveling up is earning XP through various tasks, the most important of which are badges. In other words, once you earn enough XP, you level up. Here are some steps you'll need for leveling up on Steam:

Collect Badges to Earn XP

You need 100 XP to reach the first level on Steam. Earning 100 XP per level will significantly raise your level up through level 10. After that, you'll need 200 XP per level, and once you reach level 20, you'll need 300 XP. This pattern continues. The most important and fastest way to earn XP is, of course, collecting badges. Badges are made through trading cards from games. You can go to the "Badges" section on your account to see all your current badges. But to earn a badge, you need to make sure you're playing a game that supports this feature.

Leveling Up Your Badges Also Earns XP

Another way to earn XP on Steam is by leveling up your badges. Badges can level up multiple times, up to 5 times on Steam. That means you can earn a total of 500 XP from a single game. When crafting badges, you buy any three items. Depending on the situation, you can sell these items on the market and use the money you earn to buy cards. You can also turn unsold items into gems, which you can use to buy Booster Packs.

Take Advantage of Steam Sales

Keeping an eye on Steam sales, and the badges earned or crafted during those sales, also helps raise your account's level. In other words, the more you track Steam sale periods and craft badges for yourself, the more your account's level rises.
