What Will Happen at Summer Game Fest 2022?

2022 will kick off with a live event called "The Kickoff Show," hosted by Geoff Keighley. World premieres will take place during Summer Game Fest 2022's Kickoff show, and iam8bit and Double Fine will appear in the Days of the Devs segments. The rest of the festival will consist of "a lineup of digital livestream shows." Which developers and publishers will be featured at Summer Game Fest hasn't been announced yet.

When Will Summer Game Fest 2022 Start?

Summer Game Fest's dates haven't been confirmed yet, but as was the case last year, it will take place in June. At Summer Game Fest 2021, several major announcements were made, including Elden Ring's release date and the schedule for Call of Duty Season 4. The 2021 announcements were also a bit too ad-heavy, but let's hope that gets fixed this year. Why ESA canceled E3 2022 remains a mystery — the organization hasn't given a clear reason — but it did state that E3 will return in 2023.
