TFT 12.10 Patch Notes: Orianna Nerfs in the Set 6 Update

It's a TFT Set time when balance can go out the window. Dragonlands, called TFT Set 7, goes into testing, all eyes will instead be on the Public Beta Environment (PBE). There are plenty of new champions, buffs, and yes, Dragons. But if you're still eager to play on live servers for this final ranked push, you'll want to know exactly what's changing in the upcoming update. Here's the TFT 12.10 patch you need to know.

Riot Is Adjusting Six Four-Cost Carries, Including Ahri, Irelia, and Orianna

Developer Stephen 'Mortdog' Mortimer said that TFT's current version, despite the wild changes of patch 12.9, is probably the most balanced Set 6 has ever been. So, while trying not to rock the boat too much with a fitting nod to Gizmos & Gadgets, Riot is freshening up the four-cost tier.

Six four-cost carries are in their crosshairs. Four of them are getting buffed, including the dreaded Irelia, who's getting an attack damage scaling buff on Bladesurge. Ahri, Kha'Zix, and Renata Glasc are also getting improvements at all star levels.

On the flip side, Draven and Orianna are facing the nerf hammer. Orianna's carry-focused buffs from the last patch are being reined in slightly, while Draven is taking another base AD nerf. Changes are also planned across nine traits, alongside a nerf for Ekko and buffs for Viktor.

TFT Set 7, Dragonlands, Goes Live on PBE

The main event of TFT patch 12.10 isn't the update itself, but a preview of the next one. TFT Set 7, Dragonlands, will replace Gizmos & Gadgets in two weeks, and a first look at the update will hit PBE alongside Patch 12.10.

While the Convergence goes back to a pre-Hextech era, there are 58 new units, including 53 champions and five new Dragons. As part of the new set mechanic, there are seven Dragons (in case you think we can't count, two of them are also League champions), each leading a different nation with mega-trait enthusiasts to match.
