We reviewed TFT's latest update and patch notes for you, and shared our thoughts on how the meta is affected. The nerfs made where they were needed, like on Warwick and Talon, made all of us happy.

TFT (Teamfight Tactics) Patch 10.23 Trait Changes

Summoner Change: Since 6 Summoner was too strong in the early stages, Galio received some buffs and nerfs. The biggest difference is that 9 Summoner Galio is now unaffected by crowd control. It will now be a fantasy for an opponent's Lee Sin to kick your Galio, whom you spent minutes trying to get onto the board, straight off the field with one kick. Alongside this buff, the nerfs that came with it were seen across several different categories overall, such as base health and mana changes and reduced attack damage.

Hunter Nerf: In recent weeks, Warvick with a Static Shiv had become unstoppable and would win every game. The Riot balance team must have listened to players' complaints, since they decided to weaken the Hunter trait, Ashe, and Warvick alike. We'd be lying if we said we weren't sad about it.

Ganimetçi Buff: Rewards were added to the Ganimetçi loss streak at 10, 11, and 12 losses in a row at this tier. It might look like a buff on paper, but we're not sure how you're supposed to recover after losing 12 fights in a row.

TFT (Teamfight Tactics) Patch 10.23 Champion Changes

Xin Zhao Rework: Xin has never managed to become a carry on any team until now. Riot seems to have added plenty to change that. Unlike its old version, his ultimate now deals damage equal to 300 percent of his attack damage, while also granting 50/60/75 Armor and Magic Resist every time he uses Crescent Guard. This should make a longer-surviving Xin Zhao's Armor and Magic Resist stats increase incredibly, making him harder to damage and more likely to win fights. Definitely a champion worth trying — he might just be unkillable with Bloodthirster and Titan's Resolve.
