Riot Games, which released the latest updates for Teamfight Tactics, shared notes that will shake up the game's meta before Set 5 arrives. The final changes in Patch 11.6 target many professional TFT tournaments that are currently under way as preparation for the Fates Championship. Here are the five biggest changes coming in Patch 11.6 that will shape the meta!

Locket of the Iron Solari Nerfed

With the strong shield effect it provides, Locket of the Iron Solari has found a place in almost every comp so far. But Riot Games seems to have been bothered by this, and decided to weaken this item, which could be pulled in every direction and fit in whatever change you made to your team.

  • Shield: 300/375/500 ⇒ 300/350/450

Sunfire Cape Buffed

It is possible to say that Brawlers will get even stronger thanks to the change to Sunfire Cape. Players can now place Sunfires on their strongest frontline and get multiple enemies burning.

  • Sunfire Cape is no longer a unique item. Each Sunfire Cape on a unit will burn its target every 2 seconds. You can now stack Sunfire Capes and deal enormous burn damage.

Changes to Warlords

The changes to the Warlord champions Garen, Vi and Katarina in the early game make this comp playable again. The biggest buff goes to Katarina's level 1 and 2 ultimate damage. With this buff, Katarina is once again the most important piece of Warlord compositions.

Cho'Gath BuffedCho'Gath in Teamfight Tactics

Although Cho'Gath is part of the Brawler comp, he has never had the expected impact since his introduction in Set 4.5. Veteran players got a bit excited when they saw Cho'Gath and thought he would carry games with Morellonomicon, but they were only left frustrated. With the buffs coming, it will be nice to see this big guy in the game again.

  • Armor: 60 ⇒ 70
  • Magic Resist: 40 ⇒ 60

Buffs for Assassins

Two Assassins received major buffs in Patch 11.6; Talon now gets more attack damage and true damage early on, and Diana is now faster. Enlightened and Assassin teams had already taken their place in the meta with the latest updates, and with these buffs it is possible to say that place has been solidified.
