As of July 2021, the best Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Set 5.5: Dawn of Heroes comps on the PBE were the Revenant, Dawnbringer, Skirmisher and Hellion comps. The TFT Set 5.5: Dawn of Heroes update has been on the PBE server for a long time. As a result, many professional players and TFT streamers have had the chance to try many comps. To understand what the meta has become with the arrival of the new Set, we examined the TFT Set 5.5 Meta Comps with the highest win rates on the PBE server and were finally able to put together a list.

TFT Set 5.5: The Best Comps in the Meta

A new Set can be a bit confusing when it arrives on local servers. By looking through the list we prepared, you can lay some groundwork for yourself and start the fight a step ahead. Here is the TFT Set 5.5 Tier List

TFT Set 5.5: Revenant Comp

TFT Set 5.5 Revenant comp board with Fiddlesticks

Champions: Ivern, Volibear, Nunu, Fiddlestick, Gwen, Nocturne, Brand, Kalista

Items: Radiant Shojin, Rabadon, Morello, Giant Slayer, Runaan

Fiddlestick appears as perhaps the strongest champion of Set 5.5. Thanks to his high life steal and an ability whose duration extends if he destroys an enemy unit, he has truly great carry potential.

Positioning

This composition aims to use the Revenant and Abomination synergy for Fiddlestick and to increase Fiddle's ultimate potential. The tank champions at the front provide the time Fiddlestick needs to use his ultimate, while also forming the foundation of the synergy.

Early Game

This comp, which is likely to be completed in the mid and late game, requires items to be carried by other champions in the early game. Ziggs will be a good choice for carrying items in the early game. Also, with Sorcerers it can deal seriously high damage and help you preserve your health until the mid game.

TFT Set 5.5: Dawnbringer Comp

TFT Set 5.5 Dawnbringer comp board with Lucian

Champions: Garen, Galio, Olaf, Irelia, Pyke, Lucian, Senna, Viego

Items: Frozen Heart, Guinsoo, Runaan, Radiant Hand of Justice

Lucian returns to TFT stronger than ever. Thanks to more carry potential than ever, he can fit into many comps, while his Ultimate lets him deal both attack damage and ability power damage.

Positioning

This comp uses Lucian as the main carry and fields him with Dawnbringers to get the desired output from him. Thanks to a 100% Attack Speed bonus, this comp can wipe the opposing team off the board in one go, easily targeting the opposing team's main carries with assassins in the back while providing the needed tankiness with a seriously solid front line.

Early Game

Since it will be hard to collect the 6 Dawnbringer units needed in the early game, it will help to build a solid team by collecting units that are strong early, such as Abomination. The items Lucian needs can be easily held on an early-game unit like Kalista, and the necessary changes can be made comfortably in the mid game.

TFT Set 5.5: Skirmisher Comp

TFT Set 5.5 Skirmisher comp board with Jax

Champions: Nautilus, Lee Sin, Galio, Irelia, Olaf, Jax, Nidalee, Viego

Items: Dragon's Claw, Gargoyle's Stoneplate, Bloodthirster, Runaan, Radiant Rapid Firecannon

The removal of the Dragonslayer comp from the game with the arrival of Set 5.5 let the Skirmisher comp shine again. Stronger with the new synergies, the Skirmisher comp uses Jax, whom we are used to from previous sets, as the main carry and outdoes hyper carries with a Radiant Rapid Firecannon.

Positioning

The Skirmisher comp manages to target the opposing team's carries with Nidale and Viego in the back line, while forming a quite safe line thanks to champions at the front like Irelia and Lee Sin. In this comp, where Jax is the potential carry, he gains extra attack range with the Radiant Firecannon and can also deal considerable area damage with Runaan. Also, thanks to Bloodthirster's new passive, Jax is now much better protected.

Early Game

Any Skirmisher in the early game, like Udyr, can easily carry Jax's items into the mid game. Not only that, it also manages to fully match the team's synergy. The Skirmisher comp, which reaches its real potential in the mid game, gets the tankiness it needs thanks to the Knight synergy obtained in the early game.

TFT Set 5.5 Hellion Comp

TFT Set 5.5 Hellion comp board with Tristana

Champions: Kennen, Poppy, Galio, Kled, Lulu, Miss Fortune, Tristana, Teemo

Items: Morello, Jeweled Gauntlet, Radiant Guinsoo, Hand of Justice, Runaan

At first glance reminiscent of the Sharpshooter comp in Set 4.5, this team differs somewhat in the Dawn of Heroes set. Tristana in Set 5.5 works a bit differently in this respect. She now jumps to the farthest enemy, gains attack speed for 4 seconds and, if there is an enemy next to her, jumps one last time to a spot where she will be away from all enemies. This way she manages to be quite mobile and cannot be targeted easily.

Positioning

This new ability gives Set 5.5 players the chance to position Tristana as they like. After deciding where Tris should jump, players line up the other units around Tristana and enter team fights that way. The front line formed with a Knight like Leona until Galio arrives protects the whole team, especially the main carry, while Kennen gains burn damage with his Morello and is quite functional thanks to his stun.

Early Game

This comp, whose front-line units are also Hellions, has a slow-building synergy and often needs rolling in the early game. It is quite important to get as many Hellion units as possible to level 3, starting with Tristana.
