TFT Set 5 was a brand-new update long awaited by many players. Although this new Set was still only on the PBE server, many comps that have already proven themselves with their strength seem determined to bring you first place in the lobby.

The Best Teamfight Tactics Set 5 Comps

Dawnbringer: S Tier

As you know, the Dawnbringer and Nightbringer comps are the two enemy comps at the center of Set 5 that make up its theme. Because they are the stars of Set 5, these comps are quite strong and seem likely to make themselves heard in the meta until balancing arrives.

Because Dawnbringers gain serious healing with their synergy, they can survive for a long time and guarantee victory with the right carry.

How Do You Play It?

In the Dawnbringer comp, whose foundation you lay early in the game with Aatrox and Riven, you need to activate one of the Legionnaire and Knight synergies to tank. If you see Poppy and Nautilus, do not miss them! Since there are 7 Dawnbringers in total in the game, you can complete the comp by making a champion a Dawnbringer with Spatula and Giant's Belt.

Nightbringer: S Tier

Nightbringers are a comp that is quite strong in both offense and defense, thanks to their shields and extra damage bonuses. Early in the game, they strike up a compatible synergy with Dragonslayers. In addition to your chosen carry, you can add one synergy. These can be Mystic, Legionnaire and Knight.

How Do You Play It?

Early in the game, you can build your team with Skirmisher, Dragonslayer and Nightbringer synergies. These very aggressive comps will also manage to survive well enough thanks to their bonus traits. Yasuo and Diana are champions with the potential to carry your team until you have 8 Nightbringers. You can confidently give your team's tank role to Sejuani, Lee Sin and Vladimir.

Redeemed: S Tier

In the Redeemed comp, whenever any member of your team dies, your surviving champions gain armor and magic resist, so it is a very hard comp to beat. Since the Kayle carry we are used to from other sets has not left us alone in Set 5 either, you will need to try to build your items with this in mind.

How Do You Play It?

Early in the game, you should try to reach Level 9 quickly by getting a suitable synergy with Legionnaires and Knights. Since there are 8 Redeemed champions in total in the game, you can get an extra Redeemed champion with one Spatula and Magic Resist and complete your comp. Who you make Redeemed is entirely up to you. Choosing may be a bit difficult, because you can catch almost all the synergies this way.

Draconic: S Tier

The Draconic comp is a synergy built on a logic similar to the Looter comp we are used to from Set 4.5. Unlike the Looter, the victories or defeats you take do not matter. At the end of each round, a dragon egg appears on your bench. The bigger the dragon eggs get, the bigger the rewards that can come out of them, and the longer it takes you to get the loot.

How Do You Play It?

Early in the game, you can buff Udyr with the Skirmisher synergy and give him items like Bloodthirster and Guinsoo's so that Udyr carries the game. Udyr will be your main carry until Heimerdinger and Viego arrive. An Ashe standing in the back puts the enemy team under crowd control with her ultimates and helps Udyr slaughter the enemy team.
