What Is the Story of The Forest?

The Forest is a survival game developed by Endnight Games. In the game, our main character Eric Leblanc and his son Timmy fall onto a forested island after their plane crash. But a surprise awaits them on this island. Over time, cannibals become their nightmare on the island. While our characters fight the cannibals and other difficulties on the island, they also try to escape it.

How Do You Play The Forest?

Players control the main character, Eric Leblanc. Eric's goal is to find his son Timmy, who was kidnapped after the crash. To do so, they need some equipment and powerful weapons against the difficulties on the island. Beneath the island there are mutant cannibals who mostly appear at night. These cannibals are extremely aggressive because of the hunger they feel. The biggest move you can make to scare them off is to keep a torch nearby or set up a campfire, because the cannibals are afraid of fire! Later in the game, when you explore the caves beneath the island, you will realize the situation is not limited to cannibals and you will encounter other mutated monsters. But you are lucky, because you have a survival guide to show you the way. In the guide you can see the tasks you need to do and what you need to know about island life. There is a HUD screen at the bottom right of the game. The HUD shows the player's health, hunger, thirst and energy levels. However, it is worth noting that almost all of the water sources on the island are poisonous. For this reason, you will need to boil the water to purify it.
