Having quickly become one of the most popular social media platforms in the world, TikTok announced it's starting a new project. The company began testing its Windows program for its live streaming platform, TikTok Live Studio.

What Is TikTok Live Studio?

Letting users test out the new platform, TikTok released the Windows program. Downloadable from the page prepared for TikTok Live Studio, the software gives users the ability to go live. Thanks to the chat feature built into the program, you'll be able to communicate with your viewers. Offering the ability to stream from a computer, smartphone, or game console, Live Studio is currently active in only a handful of countries. Live Studio doesn't yet have features as advanced as software like OBS and Streamlabs. Many content creators have already started working to grow their follower count and earn money with it. Content creators active on TikTok's live streaming platform can assign moderators to their live streams. The app also has features like event scheduling, live Q&A, keyword filtering, and co-streaming with other users.

When Will TikTok Live Studio Launch?

The company, commenting on the matter, stressed that there's no guarantee TikTok Live Studio will actually launch. So there's no set timeline yet for when it will come out.
