About 3 days after announcing it had been selected as a VALORANT Ecosystem Partner, ESA Esports revealed the year's last major tournament, Open Fire: Legacy, in a post yesterday! It was also announced that with 12 teams taking part, viewers of the live broadcasts would have a chance to win a combined 190,000 VP! So when does the tournament start? Yesterday's official announcement didn't say whether the tournament would be played in a playoff format or with group stages. While the format for the 12-team tournament remains unknown, it's anyone's guess who fan favorites Futbolist and FireFlux Esports will face!
When Does the ESA Open Fire: Legacy VALORANT Tournament Start and Where Will It Stream?
Per the official announcement, ESA VALORANT Open Fire: Legacy will start on Saturday, December 18. The final match, where the champion will be decided, is planned for Sunday, December 26. In a post on Twitter, ESA Esports announced that the tournament will stream on Nimo TV. After the streaming platform was announced, many esports fans voiced their frustration, with many saying most matches would get little viewership.

ESA Esports announced that the tournament's prize pool is 130,000 TL! With the announced prize pool, the first-place team is expected to earn as much as 60,000 TL, and the second-place team 30,000 TL.

Why Isn't BBL There?
BBL Esports, the champion of the ESA Open Fire: All Stars tournament, isn't taking part in this tournament. After the teams were announced, many esports fans who couldn't find BBL on the list started asking why. ESA Esports hasn't made an official statement on this yet. However, BBL's general manager Özgür 'root' Alagül and VALORANT team coach Berke ''Vlad'' Kantürk said in a statement that BBL chose not to enter the tournament by its own decision, adding that the number one reason was the state of the team's roster.
