Township Beginner's Guide: How to Play

Township is a popular city-building and farming simulation game developed by Playrix Games. While growing and developing your city, you can also dive into farming and trade at the same time. With Township, you can build the city you want and grow your population. To guide players who are new to Township, I've put together a Township beginner's guide on how to play Township. Township Beginner's Guide: How to Play? 2023

As a first step, just like with any mobile game, you need to download the game:

Download and Install Township

• Download and install Township from your app store on your smartphone (Android or iOS).

After downloading the game from the App Store or Play Store, you can log in.

Log Into the Game

• Launch the game and connect with a social media account like Google Play or Facebook to log in. This way your game progress syncs across devices.

Take Your First Step Toward Building Your Town and Farm

• When the game starts, you'll be given a small town and a farm. Follow the steps the game asks of you to plant your fields, harvest crops, and start building to develop your city.
• You can personalize your city by placing roads, buildings, and decorations from the shop (the hat icon in the bottom right).

Move on to Farming and Production

• Farming: You need to earn income by planting and harvesting different crops on your farm. You can use these crops to grow other products and produce various foods, textile goods, and more.
• Production Facilities: You need to process raw materials into finished goods at the production facilities in your city. By selling these goods, you can develop your city.

Expand Your Town

• Increase Your Population: Build new buildings to increase the number of residents in your city. More population means more income!
• Trade: Earn money and get rare goods by trading with other players or NPC characters.
• Expand Your City: Get more space by expanding your city's boundaries.

Keep Up With Quests and Events

• Quests: Township offers you a variety of quests and goals. You can earn money, XP (experience points), and other rewards by completing quests.
• Events: Special events are held at certain times. Don't forget to keep up with them for the sake of your city's development!

Help Each Other Out With Friends

Adding friends to the game lets you get some gifts by visiting their cities. So visit your friends through the "Friends" icon in the bottom right and send each other some very special gifts!

Try to Earn Cash

You can get Cash by completing in-game quests or earning achievements. Since the game relies on in-app purchases, you can also buy Cash directly with real money. But I definitely don't recommend that for the sake of your progress! Completing quests will help you understand the game better.
