Racing Lion Tom

Racing Lion Tom is a frontline hero who does everything expected of him and more. This hero's talent for taking absolutely absurd amounts of damage makes him a tank players should have on their team no matter what. Once you've unlocked all his abilities, he's nearly impossible to kill and makes it much easier to clear even a fat zombie wave along with a boss. This hero is also an excellent AoE damage dealer and can hinder enemy movement.

Harbinger of Doom, Hank Jannowitz

Hank Jannowitz is the strongest damage dealer in the game thanks to his ability to drop flamethrowers, throw grenades, and enter a berserk state to power up his own attacks. This means he has three ways to damage enemies and doesn't rely on occasionally using his active ability the way most heroes do. This hero essentially covers all the DPS you'll need and is a highly versatile character.

Zombie Hunter, Jaden

Zombie Hunter Jaden is another frontline hero who can deal damage and keep enemies at a distance. His abilities let him summon multiple allies and structures that do a great job on the front line and as a secondary damage dealer for the team. This essentially means he's flexible in his role, giving him the ability to act as a secondary damage dealer while also adding a layer of protection. On top of all this, he's heavily reliant on his active ability to protect his own pets.

Doom Girl, Catherine Calamity

Doom Girl, Catherine Calamity, is one of the first SSR heroes you'll enjoy adding to your team. She's a powerful damage dealer who can instantly wipe out zombie waves in a single hit. Her chainsaw blades stay in an area for a while, making it easy to clear out dense zombie waves. Just like Jaden, Catherine knows she needs to spam her active ability to be useful to the team.

Sinned Priest, Martin

Sinned Priest Martin is the only healer on this list and automatically earns a spot on our tier list as the only unit that can fill this role. In most cases heroes like this aren't fully rewarded, especially if you don't have a strong front line, but they can break the game's rules once you manage to put together a balanced team.

Thunderstorm, Raigoro

Thunderstorm, Raigoro, is the tank hero in Doomsday: Last Survivors thanks to his innate toughness and unmatched defensive abilities. Defensive abilities are extremely valuable in this game. Raigoro is a strong tank, but he has no offensive capability whatsoever. Purely defensive heroes can only do so much for the team, since the team still needs to deal damage. Tanks can easily get overwhelmed if waves aren't cleared quickly, so it's best to pair this hero with plenty of damage dealers.
