When playing VALORANT, strategizing with your team and moving with more synergy than your opponent is one of the most important factors that will win you the game. First, let's get to know the agents better.
VALORANT Strongest Agents and Abilities Tier List
Astra - Controller - S Tier

Although it is still early, Astra has the potential to control almost every part of the map whenever she wants. Players who like to play VALORANT like a game of chess, understand macro play and can predict the flow of the game may be one step closer to victory with Astra. Because of this, Astra, one of the hardest agents to use, can turn into a monster not in low-rank matches but in professional matches.
Jett - Duelist - S Tier

The fact that mechanically skilled VALORANT esports players such as Tenz, Wardell and cNed often pick her in the professional arena proves how strong Jett is. On the attack side, when entering corridors, her ability kit breaks the concentration of the defending players and leaves an open flank for the teammates coming from behind.
Raze - Duelist - S Tier

Thanks to her explosives, she has an ability kit that is very effective at repelling the opponent on both defense and attack. She can destroy Sage's and Cypher's abilities from a distance. In solo ranked matches, you can play very effectively without your teammates. Because RAZE IS OP!
Sage - Sentinel - S Tier

Although her abilities are not as strong as they used to be, the fact that she can revive her teammates a second time proves how powerful an agent Sage is. Barrier Orb and Slow Orb can make it almost impossible for opponents to enter the corridor she is defending. In narrow corridors, 5 people can die at once with Slow Orb and Raze's grenade. Able to boost teammates up to a better position to look from, Sage is an agent who is useful not only on defense but also on attack.
Sova - Initiator - S Tier

Words may fall short in describing Sova. One of the best agents by far since the game's first day, Sova can find where the opponents are as if he had placed them there by hand, when attacking or defending, with the Recon Bolt and Owl Drone in his ability kit. Thanks to this trait, he leads his teammates when attacking. He is more capable on attack than Cypher, another agent in the game who can gather info.
Omen - Controller - S Tier
Omen is an agent that can be played comfortably on all maps. So much so that if there is an Omen on the enemy team, you need to be careful almost all the time. With his Paranoia ability, he leaves opponents he has blinded defenseless. On the other hand, with his Dark Cover ability, he can do as much work as Brimstone on the defense side. With Shrouded Step and his ultimate, he can cover long distances and surprise his opponents at any moment.
Breach - Initiator - A Tier

Breach, who was not preferred in previous patches, was buffed in VALORANT Patch 1.07. An extra charge on his blinding ability and opponents caught in his ultimate being unable to aim make Breach a true INITIATOR.
Brimstone - Controller - A Tier

Brimstone is at the top of the game's versatile characters. His Incendiary, Sky Smoke, Stim Beacon and Orbital Strike abilities can make his team unstoppable on both defense and attack. If you want to defuse the Spike while Brimstone is alive, I would say think twice. Because the long-lasting molotov attack can prevent you from defusing the Spike. We can say the nerfs to Omen pushed players to play more Brimstone.
Cypher - Controller - A Tier

Staying calm and taking positions is very important when defending in VALORANT. If you are a Cypher player, it will be enough to place your traps, camera and cages in the area you are defending and direct your teammates while waiting for the opponents to come. You can also use his ultimate to show your teammates where the opponents are and keep your team informed.
Killjoy - Controller - A Tier

When Killjoy first came out, opponents could not find where her placed bots were, but she has now become a predictable agent. Even so, Killjoy, still a strong defender, is a dangerous agent if she gets along well with her teammates. In the professional arena, we can see her starting to be tried as an alternative to Sage and Cypher.
Phoenix - Duelist - A Tier
Phoenix is very weak on the defense side but just as strong on the attack side. So much so that with his Curveball ability he can throw controllable flashes. Also, thanks to his ultimate, Phoenix, who can be reborn like a phoenix even if he dies, gets one more chance to take out his opponents. He is no longer picked much in the professional arena or even in low-Elo games.
Reyna - Duelist - A Tier

Once the biggest S Tier, Reyna has been pulled down to the very bottom of A Tier because of the nerf to her ability kit. Her blinding ability and her ability to steal health or gain invulnerability after killing an opponent can now be used 2 times instead of 4. And that is with a 100% increase in cost! Reyna, whose ultimate is still very strong, is still played in solo ranked matches even though she is not picked in the professional arena.
Skye - Initiator - B Tier

Skye, who was not well liked in terms of gameplay when she first came out, is an extremely useful agent thanks to the info she gets from her flashes and wolf. Besides these abilities, she heals her teammates considerably, and her ultimate, which is handy for learning where opponents are, gives her team an advantage when entering a site.
Viper - Controller - B Tier

Viper, who requires experience to play, can turn into a very venomous monster with practice. Being able to open corridors for her teammates on both defense and attack with her Toxic Screen ability makes her a team player. Not very effective when played alone, Viper is compatible with many agents in terms of synergy. With her ultimate, Viper's Pit, she can take complete control of the area she is in.
Yoru - Duelist - B Tier

Yoru, whom we placed in B Tier because we have not seen him in the professional arenas yet, can be picked in solo ranked thanks to his effective teleport and flash. Able to become invulnerable with his ultimate and lead the way, Yoru could reportedly fall into the Initiator class rather than Duelist.
