Everything We Know About VALORANT Mobile
Since its release in June 2020, VALORANT has become one of the most popular FPS games of all time. Embraced by countless players and having made a name for itself in esports, VALORANT has now announced it's expanding its reach and coming to mobile platforms soon.
Riot Games recently unveiled VALORANT Mobile. Claims that it would differ from other battle royale-style games have left many players confused. For players unfamiliar with the changes, we did the research on how VALORANT Mobile will work and how it will differ from other games, and found the answer to that question.
Everything We Know About VALORANT Mobile: What Is VALORANT Mobile?
VALORANT is a game where two teams of five players each compete against each other. One team's job is to attack (plant the Spike), while the other's job is to defend and prevent the opposing team from succeeding. Teams win the round if they complete their objectives or manage to eliminate the opposing team. Players start the game with basic weapons and, based on the score they earn at the end of each round, can unlock stronger weapons, abilities, and tactical equipment.
In the game's default Unrated mode, both teams face off in a match of 25 rounds, and the first team to win 13 rounds wins the match. However, VALORANT Mobile also includes different game modes for players.
Differences Between VALORANT Mobile and Other Battle Royale Games
When we look at it, VALORANT actually isn't a battle royale game. It's a team-based tactical shooter. Instead of being dropped onto an island to defend themselves, players spawn once per round at opposite ends of a map and start the game with a basic weapon.
Progress is made by completing the team's objectives or by killing every player on the opposing team each round. Unlike PUBG or Call of Duty Mobile's battle royale mode, there's no large island or ever-shrinking play area.
The game progresses by completing the team's objectives or by eliminating the opposing team each round. Unlike other battle royale games, there's no large island or ever-shrinking play area. The team that wins the most rounds wins the match. If you're killed in a round, the game isn't over for you, and you start fresh in the next round.
