VALORANT Premier Ignition Stage: Dates and Rewards

VALORANT's Premier game mode is back for one final trial run after the Global Beta scored a big success. This time it will be called the Premier Ignition stage. It's the game's team-based tournament mode, letting players form squads and compete under a scheduled fixture model.

Premier is on a path toward professionalism, expected to replace regional VALORANT Challengers League Open Qualifiers starting with the VCT 2024 season. It'll also be a chance for players to push the limits of their skills in Riot Games' character-based tactical shooter. So when will VALORANT Premier's Ignition stage start? How do you sign up? What are the rewards?

When Will VALORANT Premier's Ignition Stage Start?

The final test period before the game mode's official launch will kick off its weekly match schedule on July 20, 2023. Weekly matches will continue through August 12, 2023. This stage of Premier will run for four weeks.

Once Weekly Matches wrap up, a final qualifying tournament will be held to declare the regional winners of the VALORANT Premier Ignition tournament.

All rewards earned in this version of Premier will carry over to Stage 1 once the game mode officially launches, along with your team, match history, and Premier MMR. However, your Premier Score, Division Zone, and registration will not carry over into the official release.

How Do You Sign Up for VALORANT Premier's Ignition Stage?

Registration for Premier's final trial stage will open on July 11, 2023 and run through July 20, 2023. To register for the tournament, you'll need to meet a few requirements:

• Have a verified game account linked to a unique phone number. You'll need to verify yourself via SMS verification.
• Complete your ranked placements at any point from Episode 1 through Episode 7. This will help build your MMR in the main game, which will be useful for finding suitable opponents.

VALORANT Premier Ignition Stage Rewards

Premier Ignition rewards include a gun buddy and a title for the winning team. Anyone who plays at least one match will get a Player Card to commemorate the event. Rewards will be delivered one day after the playoff tournament, meaning we should be able to claim these new rewards on August 13, 2023.
