What to Know Before VALORANT Premier's Open Beta Ends

As you know, Riot Games approved and launched the open beta of VALORANT's new competitive mode called Premier. We also explained how you can sign up for the open beta in our earlier article. With this, the game gets a new competitive mode aimed at offering higher competition than players are used to in Competitive. So, what is VALORANT Premier? Who can play? How many divisions are there? When does it end? How do you fix the team-not-registered error? Let's take a look at what you need to know about the mode.

What Is VALORANT Premier?

Premier is a new competitive mode that will offer players a much higher level of competition in the game compared to Competitive. Riot has already said it aims "to offer an even higher target beyond Radiant, giving the most competition-hungry players a rewarding challenge beyond rank." The mode was set up as a new path for players, running from the comfort of playing straight from home all the way to going pro.

Who Can Play VALORANT Premier?

Anyone with a five-player team of up to seven players can take part in the competitive mode. The nature of this mode will stay the same even after the beta period ends, though there will be many more improved features. It had been in Alpha status since November and was limited to Brazil only, but the beta version made it accessible worldwide. Premier lets you, or anyone, form a team and compete in a season made up of pre-scheduled matches. That means you can form a team with your friends, neighbors, or anyone else, and fight for victory against some of the best teams in your region. After forming a roster, your team will be placed into a division where you'll play throughout a persistent season of weekly matches and tournaments. If your team has everything it needs to win, you can qualify for the end-of-season tournament to fight to become Division Champion.

How Many Divisions Are There in VALORANT Premier?

There are a total of 20 divisions per region. After forming your team, the owner can register the team to a specific region. The region determines your game server and match schedule. There are a total of 14 regions spread across the world. After choosing a region, your team will be sorted into divisions along with others based on the average MMR (matchmaking rating) of your top five players.

When Does VALORANT Premier Registration End?

The Premier Global open beta will run for four weeks, from April 25 to May 23, 2023.

How Do You Fix VALORANT Premier's Team-Not-Registered Error?

To get into the beta, you first need to register as described below. If you run into a problem in the game, we recommend submitting a support request to Riot Games. As one of the fixes for an error that occurs when sending a team invite for VALORANT Premier, we can suggest having your teammates verify their phone numbers in the game client.

• Go to the "Premier open beta" tab in the game
• Verify your Valorant account via SMS
• Form a team by inviting at least four more players
• Once your team is set up, press the register button and choose your region
