VALORANT's State of Agents 2023: What's Coming

The state of VALORANT's Agents for 2023 was revealed by Riot Games. In the video published about the state of upcoming Agents, some information was shared about three new Agents expected to arrive soon. Let's see what the State of Agents 2023 video covers. State of Agents 2023 Video

The video, published on VALORANT's official Twitter page, gave fans a look at what they can expect from Agents this year. Character Producer John Goscicki shared some comments on the topic.

Gekko

Agent 22 was surrounded by plenty of mystery about their abilities and role. But that ended when Agent 22, now known as Gekko, was introduced into the game on March 7. Gekko is an Initiator with a versatile kit and some unique abilities. Using his companions Wingman, Dizzy, and Thrash, Gekko can blind enemies and clear out areas. Gekko's most surprising ability is that Wingman can be used to plant the Spike. This makes it much easier for teams to plant the Spike while simultaneously taking up improved positions. Most players have had a lot of fun playing Gekko.

Agent 23

SmokeDancer is Agent 23's codename, and the character is expected to release alongside Episode 7. The Agent is still in development, but we know they'll come as a Sentinel. A leaked photo related to Agent 23 shows Cypher gathering something at a work desk. So the new Sentinel Agent may well be connected to Cypher in some way. We already shared some information about Agent 23 in our earlier article .

Agent 24

So far, all we know about Agent 24 is that they'll be a Duelist. Because of all the secrecy surrounding them, they're also the Agent we're most looking forward to.
