VALORANT Player Card Teases New Map: Testing Grounds (June 2021)

Riot Games tends to keep the agents and maps of VALORANT's upcoming episodes secret until the episode is released. For this reason, some information about Episode 3 Act 1, which VALORANT will release very soon, remains unclear. However, VALORANT enthusiast Cynprel decoded the Level 42 player card and claimed it is a teaser for the upcoming new map.

Cynprel claimed that Testing Grounds could be the game's new map and said the map resembles a desert reminiscent of a "Southwestern US landscape". He also pointed to a radianite hazard symbol, implying that the energy source is probably located there.

I'm confident in calling this a tease for the next map.

Looks to be a canyon or valley in a desert environment. Reminds me of a Southwestern US landscape.

We see a radianite hazard symbol. No doubt there is radianite present here, waiting to be stolen. pic.twitter.com/BfGbRTNc4n

Riot has not yet confirmed any of the claims made about Testing Grounds. However, we should not forget that the developers tend to release a map in every episode. Even if no new map is introduced in Episode 3 Act 1, it seems very possible that the new map will be released in the next act. If Riot Games makes an official statement on the matter, we will keep you informed here.
