Wild Rift Origin Series: Everything to Know

Since its release, after finding massive success worldwide, Wild Rift is now giving teams from around the globe a chance to shine on the international stage. The Origin Series will be Wild Rift's first foray into international competition. It will include teams from Europe, Türkiye, the Commonwealth of Independent States, and the Middle East and North Africa. Registration will open from May 20, 2021.

Wild Rift Origin Series: Prize Pool and Tournament Dates

The Origin Series will kick off with a series of monthly qualifiers: the top two teams in each of these groups will compete for first place in the group and earn a spot in the finals. The monthly qualifiers will run in June, July, and August, with the first qualifier taking place on June 5, and the finals will be held in September. The winners of the finals will walk away with a €300,000 prize from this first-ever Wild Rift tournament.

Hans Christian Duerr, Head of Esports for Europe and MENA at Wild Rift, said the following:

The League of Legends: Wild Rift Origin Series will take mobile esports to the next level and shine a light on undiscovered new talent. We expect to see fierce competition from our competitors in Europe, Türkiye, the CIS, and MENA in the coming months. Make sure you sign up for this open tournament series in time."

The requirements to register for the tournament are as follows:

• Your team must have at least three members living in Europe, the CIS, Türkiye, the Middle East, or North Africa
• All players must be 17 years of age or older

If all of these requirements are met, go to the Origin Series website to register and enter your Wild Rift ID to sign up.
