Wild Rift Varus Abilities and Skill Set

Passive: Living Vengeance

When Varus kills a unit or gets an assist, he temporarily gains attack speed. If the unit killed is an enemy champion, these bonus resources are enhanced.

1st Ability: Piercing Arrow

Varus draws his bow and fires a powerful shot that gains extra range and damage the longer he holds it before releasing.

2nd Ability: Blighted Quiver

Passive: Varus' basic attacks deal bonus magic damage and apply Blight. Varus' other abilities detonate Blight, dealing magic damage based on the target's maximum health. Active: Empowers his next Piercing Arrow.

3rd Ability: Hail of Arrows

Varus' hail of arrows deals physical damage to a target area and corrupts the ground. The corrupted ground slows enemies' movement speed and reduces the healing and regeneration effects they receive.

Ultimate Ability: Chain of Corruption

Varus hurls a tendril of corruption that immobilizes the first champion it hits, then spreads to nearby unaffected champions, immobilizing them on contact.

Wild Rift: Varus Alternative Build

If there is a champion like Vayne or Jinx in the opposing Dragon Lane, this item build will let you take the first step toward snowballing in the early game. This item build lets you deal good damage right after building the first item and gain the upper hand.

Wild Rift: Varus Runes

Conqueror

• Grants you bonus damage for every damage you deal. Comboing will let you deal even more damage with your Q ability, Piercing Arrow.

Brutal

• You gain 7 Attack Damage and 2% armor penetration or 14 Ability Power and 2% magic penetration.

Loyalty

• You gain 2 Armor and 5 Magic Resist. Your nearest teammate gains 5 Armor and 2 Magic Resist. This will make you and your support somewhat tankier in the trades you take in lane.

Manaflow Band

• Hitting an enemy champion with an ability or an empowered attack permanently increases your mana by 30 points (maximum 300 points).
