Yasuo proved his talent with the sword at a young age. Through his own stubbornness and thanks to his older brother Yone, he became a student of Master Souama, the last wind technique master living in Ionia, and learned the legendary wind technique from his teacher. Although his older brother Yone was more respectful, cautious and thoughtful than Yasuo, Yasuo was known as impatient and stubborn. When Ionian villages were raided and the whole school went to the front lines to fight, Yasuo found himself tasked with protecting the school and his master, and his impatience kept him from fulfilling that duty. Believing he could change the course of the battle, Yasuo abandoned his post, and when he reached the battlefield he found nothing but a field full of corpses. Returning to the school, he saw that Master Souama and the villagers had been killed, and he was accused of the crime. Master Souama had been killed with the wind technique, and only one person knew that technique: Yasuo himself. He had only one way to prove his innocence and find the real killer: follow the path of the wind and set off on new adventures...

Wild Rift Yasuo Abilities and Skill Set

Passive: Way of the Wanderer

Yasuo's critical strike chance is doubled. In addition, Yasuo builds up a shield as he moves. The shield activates when he takes damage from a champion or monster.

1st Ability: Steel Tempest

Yasuo thrusts forward, damaging all enemies in a line. On hit, he gains a Gathering Storm stack for a few seconds. When 2 stacks have built up, the whirlwind sent out by Steel Tempest knocks enemies airborne. Steel Tempest is treated as a basic attack and is empowered by everything that empowers basic attacks.

3rd Ability: Sweeping Blade

Yasuo dashes forward, slicing through the target enemy and dealing magic damage to it. Each use of the ability increases the base damage of the next dash, up to a certain amount. It cannot be used again on the same enemy for a few seconds. If Steel Tempest is cast during the dash, it hits a circular area.

Ultimate Ability: Last Breath

Yasuo appears next to an airborne enemy champion, deals physical damage to it, and keeps all airborne enemies in the area in the air. It grants maximum Flow but resets all Gathering Storm stacks. After that, Yasuo's critical strikes gain a significant amount of bonus armor penetration for a moderate duration.
