NBA 2K25's platforms and release date have been announced. The game is planned to release on September 6, 2024. So, will NBA 2K25 come to PS4?

According to reports from yesterday, the game's release date, platforms, and cover stars have all been officially revealed. NBA 2K has confirmed that NBA 2K25 is coming to PS4.

Since NBA 2K24 released on PS4, and especially since PS4 still has a large player base, it was widely expected that NBA 2K25 would also launch on the platform.

There was a chance 2K would decide it was the perfect time for NBA 2K25 to move away from previous-generation platforms, something many players in the community had long wanted, but that didn't end up happening.

• MyTeam Mode: In MyTeam mode, players will be able to build their own teams and compete in online matches. NBA 2K25 will offer more card varieties, new tournaments, and rewards in this mode.
• Improved AI: The game's AI has been improved to better anticipate players' moves and deliver a more realistic gameplay experience.
• Next-Gen Features: On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, the game will offer faster load times, higher resolution, and smoother gameplay.

What Is the MyCareer Game Mode?

MyCareer mode lets players start a professional basketball career with a character of their own creation. Players start at the high school and college levels, get drafted into the NBA, and continue their careers from there. In this mode, you develop your character's skills, sign different sponsorship deals, and grow your popularity through social media.

What Is the MyTeam Game Mode?

MyTeam mode lets players build and manage their own team through cards. In this mode, players open card packs to collect different players, coaches, and other team-related items. You can build up your team and compete through different game modes (Unlimited, Limited, Triple Threat) and weekly or seasonal events.
